Most People Quit Before Post #100. I'm on Day 7.

Seven days ago, I started posting every day about building income online from zero.

No audience. No sales yet. No team. Just me — 46, living in Henderson, Nevada — writing about what I'm actually doing, in public, where anyone can watch me figure it out in real time.

Here's what I've learned in seven days: posting isn't the hard part. Showing up is.

The quiet weeks are the real test

Nobody warns you about the quiet part. You write something you worked hard on, you hit publish, and… almost nothing happens. No flood of comments. No sudden audience. Just you, the next morning, deciding whether to do it again.

A top AI educator I follow posted for three months before a single video broke 1,000 views. It took her about 100 posts before posting even felt like part of who she was. Now millions of people watch her work. She didn't get there by finding a secret. She got there by not quitting in the quiet weeks.

I'm not comparing myself to her. I'm borrowing her lesson: the reps come first, and the results come later — if they come at all. I'm honest about that. I have no sales to report, no income to show you, and my business isn't even legally registered yet. What I have is seven days of showing up, and a setup I already built for $0: a $1.18 domain, a free business email, one link page, one small offer, and a daily posting habit.

That setup was the easy part. The reps are the work.

Why I'm counting to 100

Most people quit before post #100. Not because they ran out of ideas — because they ran out of patience. The first week feels brave. The second week feels repetitive. By week three, the voice in your head starts asking who you're even writing for.

So I'm counting out loud. Day 7 of 30 in this series, and day 7 of a longer count to 100 posts. Every seven days I'll check in here, honestly, with where things actually stand — no hype, no fake numbers. If the audience is still tiny, I'll say so. If something starts working, I'll say that too.

The fine-print habit I bring to everything else applies here as well: read the terms before you believe the promise. The promise of "post every day and you'll make it" has fine print, and the fine print says it only works if you keep going long enough for anyone to notice. So I'm keeping going.

What are you on day 7 of — or day 1 of — that you haven't quit yet? Tell me in the comments. I'd rather hear about your reps than your results.
