I Built a Faceless Online Business for $1.18. Here's the Exact Stack.

No camera. No course. No monthly tool bill. One dollar and eighteen cents — that's my total spend so far, and this post is the receipt.

I'm 46. I started with no money, no audience, and no map. So I couldn't afford the guru version of this — the five subscriptions, the paid funnel builder, the course about the course. I built the free version instead, in public, one unglamorous setup step at a time.

This is the whole stack. Every tool, what it does, and what it costs: $0, except one.

The storefront: Payhip (free)

My first product — a beginner's launch kit for digital products — lives on Payhip. Free plan, no monthly fee. It's connected to PayPal, so it can actually take a payment. That's the entire store. No inventory, nothing to ship, no warehouse — a file that delivers itself.

The home base: Blogger + my own domain ($1.18 — the only money I've spent)

My site is a Blogger blog running on my own domain, wealthwithenrique.online. The domain cost $1.18 for the year. That's the receipt this whole post is named after. The blog is where the long-form teaching lives — the posts Google can find, that don't disappear down a feed in 24 hours.

The front door: Linktree (free)

One link that holds everything: the free guide, the product, the YouTube channel, the site. When someone finds me anywhere, that's where I send them. It costs nothing, and it keeps me from scattering links across every bio.

The content tools (all free)

  • Canva — covers, carousels, every visual. Free tier, and I check the fine print on every element (a "free" element can still carry a license I don't want).
  • CapCut — video editing. Where every short gets cut, captioned, and exported.
  • ChatGPT + Claude (free tiers) — drafting partners. Outlines, hooks, first drafts. I rewrite everything in my own voice — the AI is a starting point, not the author.
  • TTSMaker — voiceovers. This is how a faceless channel still has a voice. (For my own brand videos I use my natural voice — Aria is a backup, not a replacement.)
  • Make (free tier) — the glue. Automations that move drafts and posts between tools so one idea becomes a week of content.

What's NOT in the stack — and why

No email platform (the "free" one showed me a Pro trial banner, so it got deleted — a trial is not free). No paid AI subscriptions. No course platform. My test for every tool is simple: is the free tier actually free, forever, with no card on file? If the answer is "free trial" or "free, but…" it doesn't make the list.

The honest part

This stack has made me exactly the amount of money you'd expect so far: I'm at the beginning, and I'm saying that out loud. What I have is a working, running business that costs nothing to keep alive while I learn to promote what's in it. That's the part nobody sells, because "be patient, it's free" doesn't sell courses.

If you're starting over too — over 40, no budget, no audience — start with the foundation, not the funnel. Build the home base first, then the store, then the content. In that order.

I wrote the whole setup down, step by step, in a free guide: "No Money. No Audience. Starting Anyway." It's in my Linktree — linktr.ee/wealthwithenrique.online (first link). No email required, no upsell, just the setup.

You're not haunting the past. You're building your future. 👻💙
